If you love cars and have a creative side, auto body repair and refinishing might be the perfect career for you!

The Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Technology program prepares students to enter the collision repair industry. Students use the latest tools of the trade to get hands on auto body repair training in areas such as:
  • Computer measuring systems
  • Wheel alignment
  • Refinishing
  • Spot repair and custom painting
  • Computer paint mixing
With diploma and associate degree options, you can be doing what you love in no time.

Auto Body Specialties Option

Students interested in specialized fields such as classic restoration, street rod, and custom restyling can choose to advance their skills in the 9-month Auto Body Specialties option.

Specialty skills covered:
  • Trim and upholstery
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • M.I.G. and T.I.G. welding
  • Custom painting and vinyl graphics
  • Stainless steel restoration

Going Green Green Technology

The program uses a low volatile organic compounds (VOC) PPG Industries waterborne basecoat. When compared to a conventional solvent borne basecoat, PPG Envirobase® High Performance can reduce basecoat sourced VOC emissions by up to 80 percent.
