Writing Conferences:
When you complete a written rough draft of each essay, you will schedule a writing conference with the instructor. Specific days for conferences will be set aside for each assignment. These conferences are mandatory. If you do not attend your conference during your scheduled time, you need to reschedule at the instructor's convenience. The instructor will not accept any essays that are completed without a conference.

Peer Response Groups:
Before you turn in the final draft of a writing assignment, the instructor will try to give you time to work in groups to evaluate your peers' essays and have your peers evaluate your essays.

Journals:
You will write in a journal regularly. Journal entries should be kept together in your notebook or folder. Please label each entry with your name, journal title or number and date.
