WAHPETON, N.D. – (October 23, 2009) – In a game marked by poor field conditions, the North Dakota State College of Science football team fell 10-7 to Ellsworth Community College, the 12th ranked team in the nation.
Ellsworth took the lead in the first quarter on a rushing touchdown. NDSCS scored courtesy of a Brian Miller touchdown to tie the game at seven. A Panther field goal in the second quarter gave ECC the lead, 10-7.

With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 5-4 on the year, and 3-4 in Midwest Football Conference play. They will host Iowa Central CC on Saturday at 1 p.m. The winner will move on to the playoffs, starting November 7, at Ellsworth Community College.
NDSCS is a two-year, comprehensive, residential college with its main campus located in Wahpeton, N.D., and a second site, referred to as the Skills and Technology Training Center, located in Fargo, N.D.
