WAHPETON, N.D. – (October 30, 2009) – A trio of North Dakota State College of Science volleyball players have been named to the Mon-Dak Conference All-Conference Team.
Sophomore Taylor Hart is second on the team in kills, with a .218 hitting percentage and a 2.39 kills per set average. She is also second on the team in digs with 267 on the season. Taylor is from Langdon, N.D.
Freshman Sara Opp is the second member of the All-Conference Team. Opp leads the team with 206 kills, for a 2.78 kills per set average, hitting .258 for the season. She is also second on the team with 29 blocks. Opp hails from Carrington, N.D.
The final member of the team is freshman Libby Augedahl. Augedahl, the team libero, leads the team, and is currently second in the nation, with 533 digs. She is also second on the team with 26 aces. She is originally from Caledonia, Minn.
Coach Jane Passa’s team is currently 20-7 overall. The Lady Wildcats will be in action Thursday, October 29, when they travel to Bismarck State College for the first round of the Region XIII Tournament.
NDSCS is a two-year, comprehensive, residential college with its main campus located in Wahpeton, N.D., and a second site, referred to as the Skills and Technology Training Center, located in Fargo, N.D.
