| Head Volleyball Coach, Jane Passa | |
Jane Passa is entering her eleventh year as head coach of the NDSCS volleyball program. With a coaching record of 286-125, Passa finished the 2008 season with a Region XIII title and runner up finish in District O. In 2007 the Wildcats finished with a Mon-Dak Conference title, as well as District O and Region XIII titles and a birth to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. During her tenure as head coach, the Wildcats finished Region XIII runners-up in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2006. The Wildcats were Region XIII champions in 2001, 2007, and 2008. They were also Mon-Dak champions in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Passa lead the Wildcats to their first National Tournament in 2001 as NJCAA Division II National runners-up and District G and Region XIII champions. Coach Passa was selected Mon-Dak Conference Coach of the Year in 2006, 2007, and 2008, along with Region XIII Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008. In 2007 she was named District O coach of the year, making it the second time she won a district coach of the year award, in 2001, she was named District G. |

The Wildcats are on pace for another successful season in 2009 with goals of competing for the Region XIII championship and another trip to the national tournament. |

Coach Passa came to NDSCS after teaching and coaching at North Dakota State University, where she helped lead the Bison to runners-up in the 1998 National Division II Collegiate Women's Volleyball Tournament. She also served as an assistant coach at Minnesota State University-Moorhead for two years. Passa earned her bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and master's from North Dakota State University. |

Along with coaching and teaching duties at NDSCS, she serves as chair of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department. Jane and her husband, Jayme, have two daughters. |

| Assistant Volleyball Coach, Kerri Hemberger | |
After a two year break Coach Hemberger is back to assist the Wildcats. Coach Hemberger was an assistant for Passa during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. She was also a standout hitter for the Wildcats in 2001 and 2002. She helped lead them to a National Tournament Runner-up finish in 2001 and was a captain for that team. She was named to the All-Region XIII and Mon-Dak All-Conference teams. She is currently number four in the record books for kills at 738. |
