| Caterpillar, Cat dealerships, the community and NDSCS are working together to help provide the education and training you need to begin a Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician career. They will count on you to be professional and committed. You will need to maintain good grades, keep a good attitude, and stay focused on your classes. | ||
| The purpose of the internship is to allow students to apply what they have learned during the previous classroom/lab sessions in a real world setting. Students will become more familiar with the dealership environment, its organizational structure and the skills that are expected of a service technician. | ||

| Students who wish to become a CAT Dealer Service Technician should apply as soon as possible. | ||
| If you decide this opportunity fits your career objectives, take the following steps: • Complete the NDSCS application along with: • Three letters of reference. One of these letters must be from a teacher. • Resume depicting job experience, career related activities and leadership roles. • NDSCS student release of information form. • $35 NDSCS application fee. |

| Students who successfully complete the Admission process are eligible to interview with the Caterpillar Dealership. The interview should take place at the dealership and participant's goals should be discussed. All students must have a dealer sponsor before enrollment can be completed.
