| There are currently six department scholarships awarded to students in this program. They range in size from $500 to $1000 annually. In addition, several employers have assisted students with tuition and other educational expenses in return for an agreement to return to work for the employer after school. |

| Present scholarships include: |

| Harold Bruschwein - Given by former instructor, Harold Bruschwein, to a second year student with a high GPA. The applicant will be selected by the Department. |
| John Reber - Given by former Wilkin County Surveyor, John Reber, to a second year student. This scholarship is given every other year to a student in Civil Engineering and Surveying Technology or Practical Nursing., Applicant is selected by the Department. |
| Midwest Land Surveyors - Given by former Civil Tech Graduate, Rodney Halvorson, owner of Midwest Land Surveying and Engineering, Anoka, MN. |
| NDSPLS - Given by the North Dakota Society of Professional Land Surveying. Three $1,000 scholarships are awarded each year. May be a resident of any state. Must demonstrate an interest in Land Surveying. Applicants are selected by the society. |
| MSPS - Given by the Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors. Range from $300 to $500 scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants must be a Minnesota resident. Applicants are selected by the society. |
| MCEA - Given by the Minnesota County Engineers Association. Two $750 scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants must be a Minnesota Resident. Applicants are selected by the society. |
| ULTEIG ENGINEERS INC. - Given by Ulteig Engineers, Inc. One $500 scholarship is awarded each year. Applicant is selected by department. |
| In addition to the above scholarships, there are scholarships offered on occasion by Construction Contractors, State Departments of Transportation, American Public Works Associations and others. Contact instructors to find any additional information on scholarships. |
