Diesel Technology

Diesel Technology is complex and requires precise workmanship. Students are given extensive training and practical experiences in servicing all types of engines, drive trains, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems found on trucks, agricultural and industrial equipment.

Diesel Technology is a unique 2 year program. Our program operates in 4 quarters, instead of 2 semesters, which enables our students to start or stop every 8 weeks. Students have the option of starting in August, October, January or March.

An associate degree or diploma can be earned in this program. To earn an associate degree you must complete an additional math course (MATH 125) and our Co-op Program.

Program Purpose:
1. To offer the student training in the diesel field so they may take advantage of the many employment opportunities in the diesel industry.
2. To offer general education and related instruction so the student will have the opportunity to grow with the occupational field.
