| NDSCS Diesel Repair Work Policies and Regulations | |
| General: • Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. • Absolutely no rush jobs are allowed since the production work is a part of the education of students. • No parts can be supplied by the customer unless approved by the department chairperson. |

| NDSCS and Customer Responsibilities: | |
| • NDSCS is not responsible for fire or theft. • Once the owner has been notified of completion, NDSCS assumes no responsibility for vehicles and parts left in the parking lot. • If parts are needed for repair work but are not replaced at the owner's request, NDSCS is relieved of guarantee or responsibility for the vehicle's operation. • Complaints regarding repair work should be forwarded to the department chairperson before any action is taken. • In the event a unit fails after repair work, it is the customer's responsibility to return it in the same condition as when it was originally worked on. |

| Warranty and Guarantee | |
| • All NDSCS Diesel Technology repair work receives a 30-day warranty. • No guarantee can be issued by NDSCS unless parts used in the repair work were purchased by NDSCS. • In case of failure, a unit requiring warranty repair work must be brought back to NDSCS at the owner's expense. • The warranty refers only to the components of the vehicle that have been repaired. • The cost of warranty work must not exceed the amount of the original work order. |

| Fees and Payments | |
| • Each vehicle must remain in the shop until the work is completed, checked and paid for. • NDSCS doesn't extend credit for any repair work. • Payment is required for all materials, hazardous material fee, shipping charges, outside labor, telephone calls and a minimum of 10 percent labor on all bills over $1,000. • For bills under $1,000 the percentage of the labor charge depends on the miscellaneous items and the type of work required to complete the repair work. • The cost of steam and high pressure cleaning will be charged. • A fee for disposal of hazardous waste will be charged. |
