| Administrative Assistant |
|
| North Dakota State College offers an array of educational programs and gives you the hands-on experience you need to prepare yourself for your career. The instructors are great to offer their teaching in their academic program, yet obtain the capacity to assist in lessons of everyday life. The warm and friendly team at North Dakota State College of Science will send you off in the appropriate direction to accomplish your goals. Together with NDSCS and with the efforts and determination on your part, you will be a success! - Darcy Birchell |
| North Dakota State College of Science has a great two-year program in Administrative Assistant. I am an older-than-average student and found the transition of going back to school to be challenging, yet achieved! The campus provides a warm and friendly staff to assist you in your academic needs, along with a wide variety of social activities and school functions. My experience in the NDSCS Administrative Assistant program has been one of the best of my life. The teachers are great and willing to help you whenever you need it. They also make classes easy to understand and at the same time, very fun and interesting. I wouldn't want to take this program at any other college. - Nichole Moller |

| Paralegal (transfer) |
|
| This program is available to students whose career goal is to be a paralegal. The paralegal transfer curriculum plan at NDSCS includes the freshman and sophomore core courses in English and humanities, math, sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and wellness courses. These core courses are required by all colleges and universities for students seeking a bachelor's degree. |
|
| Paralegals are legal assistants who help attorneys prepare for closings, hearings, trials and corporate meetings. They investigate, research and draft pleadings, motions, mortgages, trust instruments, deeds, contracts and separation agreements in behalf of law firms, corporations and government agencies. Private law firms will continue to be the largest employer of paralegals. |

| Transfer |
| This curriculum meets the North Dakota University System general education requirements. Not all courses for the Liberal Arts Paralegal degree are offered online. |

| After completing my associate degree in Office Administration from NDSCS, I transferred to MSUM to pursue a four year degree in paralegal. The transfer seemed diffucult at first, but I was more perpared than many of my fellow classmates. The hands-on learning and life expeiences received at NDSCS prepared me for my transition to a larger university and into the work force. - Amy Offerdahl |
