North Dakota State College of Science teaches college classes over ITV/IVN to some high school consortiums which provides an opportunity for students to receive college credit while in high school. Some schools award Dual Credit to the students for the college class in lieu of their high school class equivalent.
To register for college classes, students need to complete the forms listed below prior to the beginning of the semester the classes will be taught.
There is a one-time application fee of $35 that needs to be submitted with the application.

Entry Level Requirements for English and Math
NDSCS has implemented entry-level requirements for English and Math classes. Students need 18 or higher on their ACT English and reading scores to take English classes. Students need 20 or higher on their ACT math score to take math classes.
Students with scores below those required or who have not taken an ACT test may take the COMPASS assessment to determine course placement. COMPASS is an online testing program administered at approved test sites around the United States. NDSCS is an approved test site.

Information Release form
Students may complete a form allowing the college to release information about your account, grades, or other information. Without this form completed, the college is unable to provide specific information to parents. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Release form can be found on the Registrar's Web site.
