The North Dakota College of Science (NDSCS) is committed to providing greater access to educational programs through the use of a variety of distance education options. It is our goal to offer flexible entry to high quality learning experiences that reduce the barrier of time and place. Our program is delivered in a variety of ways, including online, seminars and at satellite locations. These courses are designed with independent learners in mind and for those who desire a more flexible schedule. Please take a moment to browse through our many options and select one that best meets the type of learning opportunity for which you are looking.
Online Courses and Programs
Independent learners who are self-motivated, have good computer skills, can schedule their time to do class work and submit assignments on time, and who are not able to come to the NDSCS campus for classes may be good candidates for online classes. Online classes follow the same Academic Calendar as regular on-campus classes and students have 24/7 access to their classes once the semester begins.
Off-Site Distance Delivery NDSCS provides credit classes and programs at the Skills and Technology Training Center in Fargo, North Dakota.
Interactive Video Network (IVN) provides two-way audio and video communication to support distance education throughout the state. NDSCS hosts three of the nineteen IVN classrooms located on the eleven campuses in the North Dakota University System.
Interactive Television (ITV) through the Southeast Region Career and Technology Center allows college courses to be taught to high school students in several schools throughout the region.
