| NDSCS offers a variety of courses and programs online to provide an educational opportunity to those who are unable placebound or timebound and unable to attend traditional classes. These courses and programs also provide an opportunity for current and former members of the military to enhance their education or seek new skills. | |

| Specific information about the NDSCS application process can be obtained by contacting the NDSCS Distance Education Office or NDSCS Enrollment Services. General instructions are also available on the NDSCS Online web site under the "Apply and Register" link. | |
| NDSCS online courses follow the regular Academic schedule without the confinement of requiring students to "attend" class at specific days/times. Instructors set deadlines for assignments and exams and students may work on their classes at times that fit their schedule while still meeting required deadlines. | |
| NDSCS places great emphasis on adequate education preparation for college classes. Preparatory-level classes are being developed by Academic Services Center faculty for online delivery. Currently we have ASC 087 College Writing Prep (3 credits) and ASC 092 Beginning Algebra (2 credits) available online each semester. | |
