Now in its 9th year, the Skills Development Project has been highly successful in placing graduates in good jobs with excellent pay and benefits. Businesses are pleased with the high work ethic and productivity of Project graduates.

Workplace Language | Tuition: $1,200

This 80-hour course was developed to prepare New Americans, for whom English is a second language, for the Manufacturing skill training and Certified Nursing Assistant classes.

Emphasis is on workplace vocabulary, safety, math, and 8 hours of Achieve Global curriculum which includes, critical thinking skills, teamwork, Interpersonal Skills, Work Ethic/Attitude, Time Management and Conflict Management.

Manufacturing Sector Training | Tuition: $1,600
  • Manufacturing Training - November 14, 2011
Through this 81-hour class participants will learn the proper use and operation of basic hand and power tools used in the manufacturing industry. Classroom portion of the forklift training. Reading and measurement tools, which include: blueprint reading, use of calipers and micrometers. This training will prepare participants for valuable positions in the manufacturing industry.

This manufacturing training includes: 8 hours of Achieve Global leadership training. Forklift-Classroom Certification 4-hours, Power/Hand Tools & Safety 33 hours, Reading and Measurement Tools which includes Blueprint Reading using Calipers, Micrometer 30 hours.

Tuition costs covered for qualifying applicants, please apply. Other training assistance may be available.
