| Things to help you stay healthier at college. | |
| • Wash your hands - often and well. | |
| • Shower at least daily- it will keep you healthier, those in contact with you happier. | |
| Clean your room | |
| Reasons: | |
| • Your mother does not live here, so maid service is out. | |
| • As you enter your room, it reminds you of your old gym locker room. | |
| • Dust mites are now visible to the naked eye. | |
| • You cannot find your parking permit, the paper you just finished, or the contact lens you dropped yesterday. | |
| • The outdoor smell of the beet plant is perfume, compared to inside. | |
| • Your laundry is starting to move itself closer to the door. | |
| • The pizza boxes now cover your entire floor. | |
| • The chances that Clean Sweep will do an episode are not. | |
| • Drink plenty of healthy fluids - water, juice, milk and less caffeine. | |
| • Take a multi-vitamin daily and take extra vitamin C - especially from foods. | |
| • Cut down/quit smoking, chewing, will increase your immune system’s ability to fight disease. | |

| • Know your partner- and don’t share partners - see the chart. | |
| • Get plenty of rest - any sleep before midnight counts extra toward good health. | |
