Section 210 - Emergency Procedures

1. All campus emergency calls should be made to 9-911.
2. Be prepared to provide the following information when placing an emergency call:
• Ill or Injured person's name
• Exact location - Building, Room number
• Nature of illness or injury
• Is ill/injured person conscious? Yes or No
• Time/date of emergency
• Person who is calling in emergency:
Your name
Telephone number calling from
Exact location - Building, Room number
Is ambulance needed? Yes or No
All NDSCS employees are authorized to make emergency requests for ambulance services. Call 9-911.
3. The transferring of an injured or ill person shall be in a designated emergency vehicle, and in all cases, the injured or ill person must be accompanied by an attendant and driver.
4. The College Nurse, Certified Athletic Trainer and/or Physician are the only individuals that can direct the Campus Police Department to transport an injured or ill person.

6. Each work area should have a copy of NDSCS Emergency Procedures, listing the above information, and NDSCS Personnel (with home phone numbers) that need to be contacted.
