Life Award

The Life Award stands for "Bringing LIFE to NDSCS" and will be presented annually. The award can be presented to an individual, employee group or committee. This involves developing and implementing an action plan for Strategic Planning/AQIP goals. Criteria for the award includes: verification that the action plan was accomplished, results-not just a plan, (implemented-impact/substantiated by data), customer service-internal/external stakeholders satisfaction, collaborative, supports the LIFE values. Examples may be: Commendations from external agencies, substantial increase in enrollment/retention in limited time, could be presented as a "Best Practice" at a workshop.

Quality Award

The Quality Award is an on-going monthly award. Recommendations are submitted on an established form for recognition based on the NDSCS values of Learning, Integrity, Flexibility and Excellence. Recommendations can be submitted to the Reward and Recognition Committee.

Steeple Award

The Steeple Award stands for "Climbing New Heights" and is also an annual award. This award is for new and innovative methods to accomplish your role on campus. This can be given to an individual or group. The Criteria for the award includes: took a risk, thinking outside the box, "just in time" delivery-here and now that addresses immediate needs, shared innovation, impacted students learning and development, documented results.

Service Awards

NDSCS annually recognizes employees who have reached the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service point. Each group receives an award specific to their years of service. These individuals are honored at our yearly award program.
