The Human Resources Department is responsible for several vital functions - employee recruitment and staffing, employee benefits, payroll, safety, professional development and policy administration, as examples. Additionally, HR coordinates employee orientation, supervisory training, and mandated training.
Human Resources is the first stop for students seeking employment on campus. The HR staff accepts work-study applications and makes recommendation to departments with vacancies for student workers.

Human Resources Department Mission: To support the NDSCS Mission by developing, planning, implementing and administering all aspects of the human resources functions. These functions include: human resource planning, recruitment, retention, orientation, training, compensation (salary & benefits) administration, employee relations, safety/risk management and payroll. These will be provided in a manner which fosters legal and ethical relationships between the college and all personnel who are served by this office.
