Graduation set for Friday, May 11
NDSCS will celebrate commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 11 at 3 p.m. in the Ed Werre Arena within the Clair T. Blikre Activities Center, located on the Wahpeton campus. Six hundred and eighty students will be graduating from the College, while 177 of the graduates will be recognized with a Scholastic Achievement Award for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
Student Lyndsey C. Herda will give the Invocation, and remarks will be made by Katrina Jangula, Student Senate president. The Wildcat Singers and Stage Band will also perform.

Catch a NDSCS T-Shirt at Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks games this summer
The 17th season of RedHawks baseball is just around the corner and NDSCS will be part of the fun by sponsoring the popular t-shirt giveaway game. The first homegame for the 2012 season is May 25 against the Sioux Falls Pheasants. For more information, go to www.fmredhawks.com.

Partnership to benefit Dakota Supply Group and trainND
TrainND Southeast of the College Outreach department, and Dakota Supply Group (DSG) have formed a working partnership together to support Power Limited Technician (PLT) and the National Electric Code (NEC) classes sponsored and conducted by trainND along with Tim Pull, Electrical Technology associate professor. DSG and trainND have partnered by having the PLT/NEC courses held at various locations of DSG throughout North and South Dakota, and Minnesota locations of DSG. DSG will be providing training facilities at no cost to the trainND for the PLT/NEC courses offered at those facilities.
The partnership will benefit DSG and trainND by providing:

More advertising for both organizations

DSG customers or employees will be provided some free training as a result of this partnership

More customers brought through the doors at DSG locations

NDSCS and trainND will have more exposure to Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC/R techs, and Contractors

trainND will be providing specialty training for DSG and their customers
Carol Meehan, training account executive, will coordinate the PLT/NEC training for Tim Pull. Coordination of this partnership included Tom Rosendahl, DSG president, and Dwayne Egli, DSG operations manager.
