| The Reference Desk be called directly (701) 671-2360. Assistance is available in locating materials and answering short questions such as phone numbers, addresses, and the like. In the library assistance is provided in topic searching and selecting resources. Answers to often asked questions are available at Frequently Requested Reference Links. | |
| The ODIN (Online Dakota Information Network) system terminals provide access to several indexes, via licensed resources. Here you can find articles in various scholarly, professional, and popular periodicals. ODIN can be accessed through the World Wide Web at the ODIN Web site. From the Library home page, you can find links to several other databases such as Newsbank, CollegeSource Online, ERIC, Applied Science and Technology Index, and others. All of these reference databases will help you to find articles and citations in many fields. | |
| The reference collection also consists of books and other materials set aside, such as periodicals indexes, encyclopedias, atlases, and similar items from which facts can be located quickly. These must be consulted in the library and remain there for use by all who come into the library. | |
