| The Technical Services Department of Mildred Johnson Library manages collection development, acquisitions, and maintenance of the database that supports the online catalog. It is this department's responsibility to acquire, catalog, and process materials for patron use in a timely manner. The library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification system and the Library of Congress Subject Headings. The collection is developed to support the evolving instructional programs of the North Dakota State College of Science. In procuring materials, freedom of academic inquiry will not in any way be violated. Input and requests from all patrons are encouraged. Resources that are obtained include print and non-print. | |
