This course covers; electrical symbols and outlets; determining number of circuits required, conductor size, and type; switch control of lighting circuits; lighting and receptacle branch circuits; lighting and convenience receptacle branch circuits; special-purpose outlets for portable heating units, water pump, water heater, dryer, refrigerator-freezer, cooking units' waste disposer, dishwasher, bathroom ceiling heater, and attic exhaust fan, television, telephone, and signal system; electric heating and air conditioning; oil burner, hot water heating system; gas burner heating system; heat and smoke detector; service entrance equipment and calculations; remote-control systems; swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs; and specifications for a single-family dwelling. |
