Student Body and the Student Senate
All registered students of the North Dakota State College of Science are members of the student body. The governing body of the enrolled students is the Student Senate.
The Student Senate, with advisors' approval, has the authority to regulate all student social activities and all extracurricular activities except music, athletics and dramatics. It is allotted operational funds provided from student fees over which it exercises control with administrative approval.
The Student Senate meets regularly to discuss agenda items and to formulate policies. They appoint such chairpersons and committees as are required to carry out students activities.
The Student Senate includes representatives from the instructional divisions at NDSCS. Students are encouraged to get involved with student government and other club activities.
The Student Government Constitution and Policy Sheet are available at the Student Life Office, 101 Student Center.
