Dining Services
Located in the Student Center, Dining Services operates two locations: the Flickertail Dining Room (contract meal plans) and the Campus Connection (quick service-restaurant and convenience store).
Dining Services provides a wide variety of food products and services at an economical cost. The facilities are completely self-funded with the income remaining within NDSCS. The dining facilities serve between 1,900 and 2,200 meals on a typical weekday.
Dining Services offers four different dining plan options to accommodate student and staff needs. All first year students under the age of 21 who do not have dependents and who are not living with their spouses, parents or legal guardians are required to live on campus and purchase the 160, 225 or 300 Dining Plan. All other students living in the residence halls must choose from one of those or the 80 Dining Plan. If you do not indicate a dining plan, the 225 Dining Plan will automatically be assigned to you.
All plans are “block” plans, which means customers are purchasing a block of meals. The number of meals on each plan are for the entire semester. Meals not utilized during each semester are forfeited and do not carry over to the next semester. No refunds are made for unused meals. Payment for dining plans is made during the regular fee payment times.
